NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A stranger allegedly punched a man in the face on a Manhattan subway platform early Wednesday after asking him for the time.

Christopher Lisojo, 31, walked up to the 29-year-old victim on the C and E train platform at the 50th Street and Eighth Avenue station in Midtown around 3:50 a.m., police told the New York Post.

Lisojo allegedly asked for the time before slugging the man in the nose.

The victim approached NYPD officers at the station and described his assailant, who remained on the platform.

According to police, Lisojo resisted arrest by flailing his arms to avoid being handcuffed.

He was ultimately arrested and charged with resisting arrest, assault and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said a crack pipe was found in his pocket.

1010 WINS reached out, but police weren't immediately able to confirm the incident.
