NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Friday released surveillance footage of a man accused of groping a 26-year-old woman at a Brooklyn subway station earlier this week.
It happened at approximately 7:34 p.m. on Monday, June 24, as the victim was approaching the mezzanine and turnstile area in the Marcy Avenue station in Williamsburg, authorities said.
According to officials, the suspect approached the woman and grabbed her buttocks then fled on foot, out of the station, towards Broadway and Havemeyer Street.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white baseball hat, white t-shirt, gray shorts and blue sneakers.
