NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man accused of grabbing a 19-year-old girl on a Brooklyn street, then raping her at knifepoint early Monday.
Officials said just after midnight, near the East New York Avenue and Ralph Avenue intersection in Brownsville, the victim was approached from behind by an unidentified man who grabbed her, held a kitchen knife to her throat, and threatened to kill her if she resisted.
The suspect then led the victim into a building located at 672 Ralph Avenue, where he raped her before fleeing on foot, police said.
EMS transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Authorities released footage of the suspect before the incident walking on Ralph and on Sutter Avenue.
