NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police said Friday that they are looking for an alleged sexual abuser who attacked two women on the Upper West Side just minutes apart.

The first attack happened on April 30 around 9:04 p.m. near the corner of 78th Street and West End Avenue, when a man snuck up behind a 49-year-old woman and touched her "private area" before fleeing.

Just over five minutes later, the man approached a 43-year-old woman near West 78th Street and Broadway, grabbed her around the neck and touched her "private area."

He then fled onto the uptown platform of the 79th Street subway station, police said.

Neither woman sustained physical injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
