NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A serial groper struck twice in less than an hour in the Bronx this week, police said Saturday as they released images of a suspect.

The attacks happened between 1:40 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

A 17-year-old girl was in an apartment building near E. 147th Street and Southern Boulevard in Mott Haven when she was targeted, police said.

The girl was walking in the building when the man came up to her from behind and touched her backside, according to police.

The teen confronted the man, who fled the building, police said.

About 50 minutes later and four blocks away, a woman was inside an apartment building near Fox Street and Leggett Avenue when she was followed onto an elevator by the man, according to police.

Once inside the elevator, the man exposed himself and grabbed the woman's buttocks before fleeing, police said.

Police believe the man is between 18 and 25 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
