VIDEO: Man sought in pair of burglaries at Manhattan eateries

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage of a man wanted in connection to a pair of burglaries at two Manhattan eateries last month, authorities said.

The first incident happened at about 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, February 6, when the suspect broke the window of the 2 Bros Pizza located at 288 8th Ave. in Chelsea to gain entry, officials said.

Once inside, the suspect removed approximately $160 from the cash register.

About a half-hour later at 1:34 a.m., police said the suspect broke the window of the Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company at 286 8th Ave. to gain entry.

The individual stole approximately $2,200 from the change box and an undetermined amount of cash from the employee tip box, cops said.
