VIDEO: Man sought for spray painting antisemitic graffiti on 7 cars on UES

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force has launched an investigation after a man went on a one-hour vandalism spree on the Upper East Side last month.

The suspect spray painted antisemitic graffiti on seven parked cars between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 16.


Police said the vandalism spree, which began on East 69th Street and Fifth Avenue, spanned several blocks.

No arrests have been made.

The suspect is described as an adult male, with short dark hair, a thin build and a light complexion.  He was last seen wearing a green hooded snorkel jacket, a brown hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
