NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Friday released video footage of a man accused of spraying a teen boy with mystery chemical during a Citi Bike dispute in Manhattan earlier this week.
At approximately 1:53 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, a 17-year-old boy was riding his bike in front of 60 Center Drive in Central Park when he engaged in a dispute with the suspect on a Citi Bike, officials said.
The suspect then pushed the teen off his bike to the ground and sprayed him in the face with an unknown chemical agent, causing him pain and discomfort.
The suspect fled northbound on East Drive.
The teen was treated on scene for his injuries.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, black sneakers, and a black backpack.
