NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men were killed in separate attacks in Flatbush on Monday police said as they continue the search for their attackers.
At about 10:21 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed on Flatbush Avenue near Nostrand Avenue.
Upon arrival, officials discovered a 26-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest.
He was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he later died.
The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
Just after 4 p.m., police received a 911 call for an assault at 181 East 32nd St. where responding officers discovered 28-year-old Jumaane Williams with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS pronounced Williams dead on scene. He is not the city's 48-year-old public advocate, who has the same name.
There have been no arrests in either incidents at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
