NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for an attacker who stabbed a man at a Target store near Herald Square Monday afternoon, authorities said.
According to officials, at about 2 p.m., the 33-year-old man was attacked inside of the Target located at West 34th Street near Avenue of the Americas.
The victim was stabbed once in the abdomen, WABC-TV reported.
He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The attacker fled on West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, police said.
No arrests have been made and the attacker remains at large.
An investigation remains ongoing.
