NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released a photo on Wednesday of a man accused of repeatedly stabbing another man on a Bronx street last month.
It happened at approximately 5:35 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, in the vicinity of 4401 White Plains Rd. authorities said.
According to officials, a 52-year-old man was approached from behind by an the suspect who then began stabbing him with a cutting instrument, in the back, once in the head, and once in his left arm.
The suspect then fled on foot westbound on Nereid Avenue.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, eyeglasses, a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt, and dark sweatpants.
