NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was stabbed to death during a street fight in the Bronx early Tuesday morning, sources said.

The 34-year-old victim, Luis Almanzar, was one of two men stabbed during the midnight melee on Marion Avenue, near East 188th Street, in Fordham.


Almanzar was stabbed in the torso and right arm and died at St. Barnabas Hospital, according to police, who said he lived on the block.

The second victim, 32, was stabbed multiple times in the back and hospitalized in stable condition.

According to sources, there was a physical fight between two groups of people at the time of the stabbings. It wasn’t immediately clear if the two victims were from the same group.

No arrests were reported as of Tuesday.
