NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman was stabbed and critically injured at a business in Flushing, Queens, on Sunday evening, police said as they searched Monday for her attacker.
A man stabbed the 60-year-old victim in the neck around 7:20 p.m. at 135-32 40th Rd., according to police.
The stabbing appears to have happened at a business, but there are several at the location, including a seafood restaurant and a massage spa, and it's unclear exactly where it took place.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are also unclear, but police called it "unprovoked" and said the man fled the scene.
The victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian Queens in critical condition but was expected to survive, police said.
