NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who grabbed a cane from a 72-year-old woman as she walked in the Bronx this week.
The NYPD released images of a suspect Thursday in connection with the heartless theft in the Soundview section in broad daylight Monday afternoon.
The victim was walking at Watson Avenue and Morrison Avenue at 2 p.m. when the man came up and snatched the cane from her, according to police. He fled the scene on foot.
The victim wasn’t injured in the theft.
The suspect’s believed to be between 25 and 30 years old.
