NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man wanted in connection to a burglary that occurred late last month inside a Brooklyn residential building, authorities said.
The incident took place inside of a residential building in the vicinity of Bushwick Avenue and Johnson Avenue in Bushwick just before 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 20.
Officials said a 37-year-old building employee contacted the police after he entered the lobby and discovered property missing.
A subsequent investigation determined that at approximately 3:45 a.m. on that same day, an unknown man entered the building through a secured front door.
Once inside the suspect forcibly broke into a secured storage area took various electronics before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.
The total estimated value of property was $800.
