NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released images Wednesday of a man who allegedly stole more than $100,000 from three businesses in Brooklyn and Queens in less than a week.
Most of the cash was stolen on the morning of May 26 from the Chef Quang Guyanese Chinese restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Cypress Hills. The suspect allegedly broke in around 2:15 a.m. and swiped a safe containing around $100,000 in cash. Staff members said the entire burglary was caught on camera.
He’s also suspected of stealing $900 in cash from a drawer at a business on Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill on May 24, as well as $2,000 from a cash register at a shop on Conduit Boulevard in Cypress Hills on May 30.
Police said he entered the locations by breaking glass doors and windows in the overnight or early morning hours.
