NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man tried to rape a woman in Prospect Park this week, police said Friday as they searched for her attacker.
The 41-year-old woman was on the eastern side of the park around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when she was attacked.
According to police, the man grabbed her near the Cleft Ridge Span on Well House Drive.
He sexually assaulted her and then attempted to rape her before fleeing, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital with cuts and bruising to her face.
No arrests have been reported. Police haven’t yet released an image of a suspect.
