NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man wanted in connection to a burglary that occurred in Midtown earlier this month.
According to police, the suspect gained entry into Kerman Protection located at 505 8 Avenue at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, by forcing open the front door of the office.
Once inside, the suspect removed $2,500 in cash and an undetermined amount of checks then fled in an unknown direction, authorities said.
Officials describe the wanted man as a dark-skinned male with a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.
