Man wanted for cutting teen in head during dispute in East Village

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 17-year-old was cut in the head with a sharp object after a dispute in Lower Manhattan and police are searching for the man responsible.

The victim was walking on the corner of Bowery and 3rd Street just after 1 a.m. on March 12 when he and another male got into a dispute, according to authorities.

The suspect then hit the teen on the right side of his head behind the ear with an unknown sharp object which caused a laceration. He then fled the scene toward East 4th Street.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as having a dark skin complexion, about 5'11" tall, 190 pounds with black hair in braids.
