Man wanted for forcibly kissing woman on West Village subway train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a man who forcibly kissed a 25-year-old woman on a subway train in the West Village earlier this month.

The survivor was sitting on a southbound 2 train near the 14th Street-7th Avenue subway station at about 4:50 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13 when the suspect approached.

He forcefully kissed her before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

The woman was not physically injured in the attack.

Surveillance images released by police show the man wearing a gray knit cap, a beige and brown jacket over a green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and light sneakers.
