NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly beat an on-duty subway worker at a station in Queens on Wednesday.
The NYPD released a photo Friday of the suspect, who they said fled on an E train after the attack.
According to police, the 51-year-old MTA employee was working at the Forest Hills–71st Avenue station around 10 p.m. when he and his attacker got into an argument.
During the altercation, the suspect repeatedly punched the worker multiple times in the face, police said.
The victim was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition.
