NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released an image Wednesday of a man who allegedly punched an MTA bus driver in the face in Brooklyn earlier this month.

The bus driver, a 53-year-old man, was operating a B42 bus at Rockaway Parkway and Flatlands Avenue in Canarsie just before 6 p.m. on Feb. 14 when the suspect got into an argument with him, police said.

During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly punched the victim in the face, then ran out of the bus and fled on Rockaway Parkway.

EMS responded and transported the victim to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
