NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly raped a woman at knifepoint in Greenwich Village late last month.

The NYPD released images Wednesday of the suspect they’re after in the June 27 attack near West 10th Street and Fifth Avenue, about three blocks north of Washington Square Park.


According to police, the man pulled a knife on the woman around 4:40 a.m. and then raped her.

After he fled the scene, she was transported to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.
