NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released images Tuesday of a suspect who allegedly shoved a subway rider onto the tracks at a Brooklyn station this week.
The victim, a 35-year-old man, landed on the track bed but was not struck by a train at the 36th Street subway station in Sunset Park on Sunday, police said.
He was hospitalized in stable condition at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn.
According to cops, the victim was standing on the southbound R platform around 4:55 a.m. when the suspect came up and pushed him.
There’s no indication that the two men had any kind of interaction before the push.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, police said.
