
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Friday released surveillance footage of a man wanted for strangling woman at a Bronx business last month.
It happened at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, while inside of a store located at 344 East 149th St. in Mott Haven, authorities said.
According to officials, the man strangled a 51-year-old woman, causing her to lose consciousness then fled the location on foot.
When the victim regained consciousness, she noticed three of her pants buttons were undone, the NYPD said.
The victim refused medical treatment.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, orange vest, blue jeans and brown work boots. He was also seen carrying a yellow hard hat.
