Man wanted for repeatedly stabbing woman in random Queens bus stop attack

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance photos Wednesday of a suspect wanted in connection with the stabbing of a woman at a Queens bus stop earlier this week.

Just before 6:20 a.m. on Monday, the 29-year-old woman was waiting for a bus at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 94th Street in East Elmhurst when the suspect approached her from behind. He then displayed a knife and stabbed her repeatedly, officials said.

The victim suffered stab wounds to her left arm and back.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.
