NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man wearing a Batman mask shot another man in the leg in Brooklyn on Sunday, police confirmed to 1010 WINS.
The suspect, who was last seen wearing a Batman mask, shot at a 37-year-old victim in Cypress Hills at around 11:20 p.m.
The victim was smoking outside his car when the suspect approached and shot the man in the right leg, cops said.
After being shot, the victim ran into a nearby bodega for safety, according to police.
He was later taken to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
It wasn't immediately clear if the two knew each other.
Police are searching for the suspect.
An investigation is ongoing.
