NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A judge on Monday ordered a Queens man who allegedly threatened to kill Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to remain in jail, according to a report.
Brendan Hunt, 37, pleaded not guilty to charges that he posted online after the 2020 presidential election calling for the three politicians to be publicly executed, the New York Post reported.
Hunt will remain in jail unless he successfully requests to be released on bail prior to the trial, the outlet reported.
Hunt is accused of using the screenname “X-ray Ultra” to post threats against the three New York politicians after former President Donald Trump lost to President Joe Biden in the election this past November.
“Trump, we want actual revenge on democrats. Meaning, we want you to hold a public execution of pelosi aoc schumer etc,” Hunt wrote, according to prosecutors.
“And if you dont do it, the citizenry will. We’re not voting in another rigged election,” he allegedly added. “Start up the firing squads, mow down these commies and lets take america back!”
His attorney information wasn’t immediately available Monday.
