NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man who exposed himself to a teen girl on a subway platform in Harlem Sunday evening, according to authorities.
At approximately 6 p.m. a 17-year-old girl was waiting on the northbound 6 train platform inside of the East 110 Street and Lexington Avenue station when she observed the suspect standing on the platform with his penis exposed, police said.
Officials said the suspect then asked for the victim to come over to him.
When the 6 train arrived, the suspect boarded while the victim remained on the platform, waiting to take the next train, the NYPD said.
Police said the teen later arrived at the East 125 Street and Lexington Avenue station, where she observed the same man standing on the platform.
The suspect saw the victim and gestured for her to come over to him, authorities said.
The teen took a cell phone photo of the suspect and left the station without further interaction with him, police said.
Officials describe the suspect as a man with a dark complexion, approximately in his mid-30s, 6'2" tall, weighing 190 pounds, with a slim build, black hair in an afro with facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt, a blue baseball hat, red sweat pants, and white sneakers.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
