Cops believe man who shot Bronx gas station employee also shot Philadelphia parking agent

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police believe the man who shot a gas station employee in the Bronx last week is also responsible for shooting a Philadelphia parking agent in the back of the head.

The NYPD released side-by-side video showing the suspect, who police believe is the same person based on the similarity of the crimes and the outfit he’s wearing.

On Nov. 22, the man shot a 59-year-old man working at the Sunoco Gas Station on Boston Road near Astor Avenue in the Bronx, according to authorities.

The victim remains in critical condition at NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi.

Just three days later, a man approached a Philadelphia Parking Authority Officer in the back of the head on Frankford Avenue near Orthodox Street.

The parking agent is in stable condition.

Police are asking anyone with information on the shootings to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Anonymous tips can also be submitted on the Crime Stoppers website or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
