NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly menaced two Muslim women while wielding a box cutter on a bus in Queens last week.
The two women, ages 21 and 19, were riding a Q66 bus at 51st Street and Northern Boulevard in Woodside around 6 p.m. on July 16 when he targeted them, police said.
He allegedly made anti-Muslim remarks, as well as threats of violence, against them while displaying a box cutter.
He then fled the bus, police said. No physical injuries were reported.
The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
