NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man who allegedly stabbed a woman on the Lower East Side early Friday morning.
The 36-year-old victim was stabbed at Pitt Street and East Houston Street just before 12:30 a.m.
According to police, the victim was in a dispute with her attacker when he stabbed her repeatedly in the right leg with a knife.
She was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is expected to survive.
The suspect, Paris McCoy, 26, was later arrested on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Police said he has nine prior arrests.
The nature of the dispute wasn't immediately known.
