NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police were searching Friday for a man who stabbed a woman on the Lower East Side.
The 36-year-old victim was stabbed at Pitt Street and East Houston Street just before 12:30 a.m. Friday.
According to police, the victim was in a dispute with her attacker when she was stabbed in the right leg with a knife.
She was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is expected to survive.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, and no arrests have been reported.
The nature of the dispute wasn't immediately known.
