NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- For those who aren't quite world-class tennis players but want to hit the courts while the U.S. Open is in town, there might be a perfect spot in Manhattan.

The American Express Courts are open through Aug. 31 at Hudson River Park’s Pier 76, located next to the Javits Center.

The pier features six tennis courts. There are also ping pong tables, an Amex Lounge and food and drinks — including a 21+ happy hour through Aug. 29 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Five courts are only available for cardholders, but one will be open on a first-come, first-served basis.

The dates slightly crossover with when the U.S. Open comes to Flushing Meadows between Aug. 30 and Sept. 12.

Organizers are asking players to arrive 10 minutes before their booked time and wear closed-toed shoes. Players are also encouraged to bring their own racquets and tennis balls.

Unvaccinated participants are asked to wear a mask.

The $5 booking fee for a court will be donated to the U.S. Tennis Association’s Foundation Excellence Program.
