NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An attacker randomly struck a man in the head with an unknown object in Greenwich Village, fracturing the left side of his face, the NYPD said.
The 59-year-old man was in front of a building on Christopher Street, between Washington and Greenwich streets, around 6 p.m. on April 23 when another man randomly hit him in the face with the object, police said Wednesday.
The attacker fled west on Christopher Street after the assault, the NYPD said.
The 59-year-old was taken to Lenox Health Greenwich Village with fractures to the left side of his face, police said.
