NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man’s foot was severed after he fell onto the subway tracks inside a Manhattan subway station and was struck by an oncoming train over the weekend, officials said.
The incident happened at about 10:25 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17 when, according to police, the man became disoriented and fell onto the tracks inside the Grand Central subway station.
NYPD Transit officers and a good Samaritan were able to help the man.
An investigation remains ongoing.
