NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police launched an investigation after a body was found highly decomposed inside a van in Queens on Sunday afternoon.
The unidentified man was found unconscious and unresponsive just before 3:30 p.m. at 59-21 Calloway St. in Corona.
It appears that the man was living in the van, officials said.
EMS pronounced him dead on the scene and it is unclear if his death is suspicious, according to the NYPD.
No other details were released by police and an investigation is ongoing.
