NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of a masked man wanted for stealing donation boxes from a Brooklyn synagogue last month.
It happened at approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, when the suspect entered a synagogue located at 3714 18th Ave. in Kensington.
According to officials, the suspect proceeded to go through various rooms and removed an unknown sum of currency from multiple donation boxes.

He then exited the location and fled on foot heading eastbound on 18th Avenue and then southbound on Coney Island Avenue.
There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.
