NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two men were arrested early Tuesday for slashing each other on a subway platform at Grand Central, police said.

The two men—ages 50 and 30—got into a dispute that turned physical around 1 a.m. on the northbound 4/5/6 platform of the station.

Each man suffered lacerations to his left arm as the pair traded slashes at the busy transit hub, police said.

The older man was treated at the scene by EMS, while the younger man was hospitalized at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

An investigation into the slashing is ongoing.

The violence came just two days after a Metro-North rider was stabbed by another passenger Saturday evening on a train arriving at Grand Central Terminal.

The victim had called out his attacker for playing music loudly over his phone’s speakers. The alleged stabber was arrested, and the victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
