NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 14-year-old boy was forced to the ground and robbed by two men on a Brooklyn subway train, police said Thursday as they released surveillance images of the suspects.
The boy was aboard a southbound R train on the morning of May 6 when the two men got into an argument with him, police said.
The dispute escalated and the two men forced the boy to the floor of the subway car, according to police.
The men then stole the boy's iPhone, speakers and $5 in quarters, police said.
The boy suffered scratches to his neck, according to police, who said he refused medical attention.
The assailants fled the train at the Bay Ridge–95th Street station, police said.
