NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Tuesday released a photo of two men wanted for robbing an employee at a Queens chicken restaurant of thousands of dollars and a safe earlier this month.
At approximately 11:25 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, a 36-year-old employee was robbed inside of a commercial establishment near 75th Road and Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills, officials said.
The suspects left the location with $8,000 and a black safe box. One of the men simulated a firearm and pointed it at the employee, according to the NYPD.
The men fled into a 2008 yellow Chevrolet Camaro to parts unknown.
There were no injuries reported and an investigation is ongoing.
