NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Actor Michael Imperioli of "The Sopranos" and Steve Carell of "The Office" will make their Broadway debuts in two highly anticipated productions set to officially open next year.

Imperioli will take the stage in the Broadway revival of Henrik Ibsen’s "An Enemy of the People," where he will perform alongside Jeremy Strong.

This will be Emmy-nominated Imperioli’s first appearance on the Broadway scene.

The play, adapted by Tony nominee Amy Herzog and directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold, is set to begin previews at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Feb. 27, 2024, with an official opening on March 18, 2024.

Imperioli recently starred in Emmy-nominated "The White Lotus" and he is currently playing in Hulu’s "The Fool."

Carell will also make his first appearance on Broadway with his portrayal of the title character in "Uncle Vanya" at Lincoln Center Theater.

Carell's first Broadway role will share the stage with actors Alison Pill, Alfred Molina, and Anika Noni Rose in Chekhov's masterpiece.

The play, translated by Heidi Schreck, will be directed by Lila Neugebauer.

Previews for "Uncle Vanya" are scheduled to start on April 2, 2024, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, with the grand opening set for April 24, 2024.

The sets for "Uncle Vanya" will be designed by Mimi Lien, with costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Lap Chi Chu and Elizabeth Harper, and sound by Mikhail Fiksel and Beth Lake.
