NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — One teen was killed and another wounded in a stabbing that occurred in Lower Manhattan Thursday night the NYPD said as they search for three suspects.
At approximately 7:40 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, police responded to a 911 call for an assault at 17 John St. in the Financial District.
Upon arrival, officers observed 17-year-old Yeremi Colino with a stab wound to the chest and an 18-year-old boy with stab wound to the left arm.
EMS transported both teens to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue where Colino died from his injuries. The 18-year-old remains is in stable condition.
Officials recovered a knife at the scene.
Both victims are believed to be migrants. Colino was living at the Roosevelt Hotel located at 45 East 45th Street and the other teen at the Stewart Hotel at 371 Seventh Ave.
There are no arrests at this time and authorities are searching for three males.
The investigation remains ongoing.
