NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A 15-year-old boy from East Hampton on Long Island has been missing since Wednesday, but investigators said he was last seen in Brooklyn on Friday.

John Gray, who has autism, was last seen in East New York on Friday morning.

“John is approximately 6’1”, 190 pounds, he was last seen wearing a hoodie with an image of Snoopy on the back of it and wearing other clothes that had Peanuts characters on it,” Detective Ryan Hogan of the East Hampton Police Department told 1010 WINS/WCBS 880.

This sighting comes one day after police found information indicating that Gray was in Manhattan at 2:15 a.m. on Thursday.

At the time, officials noted that Gray may be using public transportation.

Gray was spotted in East Hampton at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, before leaving Long Island via train. He was wearing a dark gray beanie, black jacket or sweatshirt, black pants, black Nike sneakers. He was possibly carrying two black backpacks.

“He did take a Long Island Rail Road train westbound, and at this point, again like I said, we’re still actively looking to find him,” Hogan said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the East Hampton Police Department at 631-537-7575 or call 911.
