NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police said that more human bone fragments were found at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo on Saturday, the third time skeletal remains have been discovered at the park in two weeks.
Just before 7 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a call reporting possible human remains at 10 Dock St.
Authorities said that bone fragments were found by a rock along the shore of the East River.
Citizen App footage from the scene shows police, including members of the K-9 unit, investigating down along the rocky shore near Jane's Carousel.

The discovery comes less than two weeks after police found skeletal remains in the same area on back-to-back days.
The first bones were found by a member of NYC Parks on the morning of Monday, Aug. 19, near 55 Water St. A 911 caller reported more possible remains on the Dumbo waterfront, near the carousel, the very next night. Officials found what they said appeared to be a thigh bone upon investigation.
The medical examiner is working to identify the remains and see if there is a connection between any of the discoveries.
It is still unclear if Sunday’s case is related to any past cases, and the investigation is ongoing.
