NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A mother and her baby were pepper sprayed while riding a Queens subway train on Friday morning, and police are searching for the culprit.

The 25-year-old mother had her 11-month-old daughter with her on a southbound M train near the Court Street-23rd Street subway station in Long Island City at about 11 a.m. when they were attacked with the irritant, police said.

Authorities said that both mother and child were transported to Mount Sinai Queens where they are in stable condition.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
