NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A mother and her 4-year-old daughter were injured by an out-of-control SUV that jumped the curb in Brooklyn Sunday night, authorities said.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:11 p.m. at Park and Nostrand avenues in Bed-Stuy, officials said.
According to police, a 39-year-old man driving a gray Fisker cab SUV was heading westbound on Park Avenue and attempting to turn onto Nostrand Avenue when he collided with a Honda minivan. The impact caused the SUV to jump the curb, striking a 31-year-old woman and her daughter.
Both victims were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Bellevue, where they are currently listed in stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing.
