NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A motorcyclist and an e-bike rider were killed in separate crashes hours apart in Manhattan and Brooklyn, police said Saturday.
The 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed near Dyckman Street and Post Avenue in Inwood around 5 p.m. Friday when he crashed into the bumper of an Audi sedan, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, struck his head after the crash, police said. He was rushed to Allen Pavilion Hospital but did not survive.

Hours later, around 3:45 a.m. Saturday, a man riding an e-bike in Brooklyn was killed when he collided with a car, police said.
The victim was riding the bike near Rogers Avenue and Clarendon Road in Flatbush when police said he was struck by a Nissan Sentra driven by a 21-year-old man.
Police said the e-bike rider went against a traffic signal on Clarendon Road and was struck as he entered the intersection at Rogers Avenue.
Responding officers found the unidentified victim lying on the roadway with head trauma. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
Police said the driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and was not injured.
The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is investigating both crashes.
No arrests have been reported.
