
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The Metropolitan Transportation Authority on Tuesday announced that MetroCard vending machines will be loaded with limited edition cards honoring legendary rock band KISS ahead of their final shows at Madison Square Garden.

The group formed in NYC in 1973 by Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss -- will play two shows from their "End of the Road" tour at Madison Square Garden on Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2.
The MetroCards feature a portrait of the band on one side and will be available for purchase beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.
50,000 cards will be available on a first come, first served basis at the 34 St-Penn Station and the 34 St-Herald Square subway stations in Manhattan.
