NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD arrested an MTA track worker this week for allegedly scrawling graffiti in the subway system.
Police said the worker was arrested Thursday for "an act of graffiti" and that they had since tied him to a second act of vandalism from March.
"Given the access his credentials provide, we're exploring his ties to other acts of graffiti both in and outside of the subway system," NYPD Transit tweeted.
Police haven't yet identified the worker or said if he was on-duty at the time.
