NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance photos this week of a man wanted for allegedly punching an on-duty MTA worker in the face in Harlem earlier this summer.

It happened at about 4:51 p.m. in front of 300 West 125th St., near the intersection of Frederick Douglass Boulevard, where there are multiple bus stops.

The 61-year-old MTA worker was engaged in a dispute with the suspect, authorities said, and the argument became physical when the unknown man struck the victim in the face, causing pain and swelling.

The suspect fled the scene on 125th Street to parts unknown, and the victim denied medical attention.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
